Richard Spooner's Cristallo retires from the sport
Over ten years Cristallo has jumped in the spotlights on the most beautiful arena's of the world. Now Richard Spooner's trusted gelding can enjoy his earned retirement. The Caretino-son says goodbye to the sport at 20 years old.

The pair competed inn five worldcup finals with a seventh place in Geneva in 2010. The brown horse represented the USA with a winning result in the Nations Cup competitions of Calgary in 2008 and 2011, in Rome in 2009 and Sankt Gallen in 2009.

Further they won the five star Grand Prix in Coruna and at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Monte Carlo.

"Although he's 20-years-old Cristallo is still in a superb form," states Spooner. "I'll miss him on competitions. He's that once in a lifetime horse I had the honors to know."
