But there where a few riders who did had succes during this second round. It was a battle between the German's with both Jörg Naeve and Miriam Schneider who went for the fastest clear round. It turned out to be Miriam Schneider who beat the time of Naeve with her eleven year old Cartagena (by Cellestial) with whom she finished in just 46.10 seconds. Shaping off a good two seconds from Naeve's time, who finished with his be Aperla VA 9 (by Clarimo) in second place with 48.27 seconds. In third place it was French rider Frederic David with his Equador van 't Roosakker (by Nabab de Reve) in 48.69 seconds.
The top five was then completed by Norway's Cecilie Hatteland and the Dutch Warmblood Alex (by Oklund) with whom she had 4 faults in the first round, but stayed clear in 41.96 seconds in the second round resulting in a fourth place. Followed by a fifth place from Ukrain's Rene Tebbel who stayed clear in the first round with his Cosus (by Up to Date) but finished with 4 faults in the second round.
