Niels Bruynseels unbeatable master of the Longines Grand Prix in Basel
A total of fourteen combination qualified for the 1.55m Jump-Off in the Longines Grand Prix of Basel. In an exciting Jump-Off it was eventually Belgium's Niels Bruynseels who speeded to victory aboard his 10-year-old Delux van T&L.

Aboard his 10-year-old Toulon-son, Bruynseels speeded to victory in 36.81 seconds. Also Dutch show jumping rider, Marc Houtzager set a time under 37 seconds. Houtzager settled as runner-up with his 12-year-old Sterrehof's Calimero (Quidam de Revel).

After a clear Jump-Off in 37.47 seconds, France's Philippe Rozier completed the stage in the saddle of his 15-year-old Cristallo A Lm. The pair stayed ahead on Emanuele Gaudiano, who earlier today placed second in the longines Ranking Class.

Together with Chalou (Chacco Blue) the Italian show jumper placed fourth while Bertram Allen completed the top five with Molly Malone V. Allen already won, placed second and now settled for a fifth spot.
