Just one rider from the European team – Ireland’s Michael Duffy riding Commander – finished the day on 0 penalties whilst teammate Matias Alvaro (ITA) just missed out picking up one time penalty. China’s Yaofeng Li riding Uriah was also amongst the nine clear rounds, alongside Maria Brugal from the Dominican Republic on Famoso, Sabrina Rivera Meza from El Salvador on Con-Zero, Argentina’s Martina Campi with Darina and Egypt’s Mohamed Hatab on White Lady.

Following three eliminations today (Bianca de Souza (BRA), Lilia Maamar (MAR) and Macarena Chiriboga Granja from Ecuador), there will be 27 starters tomorrow on a new course of eight obstacles.
