Not Olly but Jonelle Price takes victory in Badminton Horse Trials

A nailbiting final was the result of the Badminton Horse Trials. The three day event concluded today with an exciting showjumping day mixing up the final results.

In the end it wasn't Olly (Oliver Townend) who took home the victory but it was New-Zealand's Jonelle Price and her Classic Moet (by Classic XX) who won this 2018 edition. She is the first lady who has taken the victory in over eleven years at the grounds of Badminton, making it a very special day indeed. Olly and his number one horse Ballaghmor Class (by Courage II) didn't had much luck in the course. The combination had to endure two faults on the jumps leaving them in fifth place. With Cooley SRS however he finished in a strong second place after a clear round. In third place with 4 penalties it was Rosalind Canter and her Allstar B (by Ephebe for Ever), followed by a fourth place for Gemma Tattersal and her Artic Soul.

Michi (Michael Jung) and la Biosthetique Sam (by Stan the Man XX) had some bad luck resulting in two faults leaving then in tenth place.
