Standing ovation for Julia Krajewski after victory in cross-country Aachen
It was Germany's Julia Krajewski who under a standing ovation in Aachen's arena finished in first place. She won the cross-country day at the CHIO Aachen with her Chipmunk FRH (by Contendro I) with a miniscule result finishing with some penalties for time after a beautiful round in the cross-country. Her goal was to stay under the penalties from Chris Burton in which she succeeded with 26.10 penalties.

Burton who had quite the comeback with his Quality Purdey (by Quality) finished in second place after he succeeded to finish with 1 second in time. The combination finished with a total of 26.70 penalties. In third place it was New-Zealand's Tim Price aboard his Cekatinka (by King Kolibri) with 30.30 penalties.

Completing the top five we found in fourth place Andrew Hoy for Australia with Vassily de Lassos (by Jaguar Mail) (31.70 penalties), followed by a fifth place for New-Zealand's Clarke Johnstone and his Balmoral Sensation (by Senator VDL) (33.50 penalties).

In the team results it's New-Zealand who takes the lead with 112.900 points. France follows in second place with 130.500 points, while Sweden is in third place with 146.300 points.
