Francois Mathy Jr good for only clear round in jump-off Liege

An exciting jump-off closes the evening in Belgium's Liege. In the four star competition over 1m50 the only rider who jumped a clear round out of the six jump-off combinations was Francois Mathy Jr aboard his Casanova de L'Herse (Ugano Sitte) with whom he finished in 30.96 seconds.

Gregory Wathelet decided to go all out with Mit Nevados S (Calvados S) but finished with 4 penalties despite his time of 30.30 seconds taking him to a second place. For France Patrice Deleveau also finished with 4 penalties aboard Urcos de Kerglenn Hdc (Toulon) in 31.39 seconds taking the third place.

Charlotte Bettendorf en Ikea (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) finished in fourth place ,followed by a fifth place for Nicola Philippaerts and Icos (Cicero Z).
