Hans-Dieter Dreher takes victory in Grand Prix Donaueschingen with only clear round
Germany's Grand Prix of Donaueschingen, a 1m60 threestar competition, fell prey to Germany's own Hans-Dieter Dreher. Aboard his Embassy Ii (by Escudo I) he was the only rider in the five combination strong jump-off to finish with a clear round. They crossed the finish line in 47.82 seconds taking it quite easy being the latest starter in the jump-off.

All other competition in the jump-off had to deal with penalties, leaving it up to Dreher to keep it clear taking his time. Finishing in second place was Swiss rider Martin Fuchs aboard his Dubai du Bois Pinchet (by Kashmir van Schuttershof) who came across with four penalties but with the fastest time of 41.28 seconds. Following in third place for Germany as well is Holger Hetzel aboard Legioner (by Limbus) in 42.96 seconds.

Completing the top five we found in fourth place Gilles Dunon for Belgium with Fou de Tou vd Keihoeve (by Toulon), followed by a fifth place for Erica Swartz and Jovita (by Carabas vd Wateringhoeve).
