Chef d'equipe Otto Becker for the German team has announced his team for this years World Equestrian Games. With two of Germany's top riders refusing to sign the partition to be a part of the German team he had to get creative to select the best team possible for Germany.
The first choice would be Marcus Ehning who just won the Grand Prix of Aachen. Ehning has the luxery of competing with two of his horses both Pret a Tout and Comme il Faut. Besides Ehning Becker has chosen for Simone Blum and DSP Alice, Laura Klaphake and Catch me if you Can OLD and Maurice Tebbel who can choose between Chacco's Son or Don Diarado.
For the other three competitors this will be their first World Equestrian Games.
