Marcus Ehning speeds to victory in Madrid

In the 1.50m winning round ten pairs returned for the second round. Eventually five pairs kept it clear. Marcus Ehning set the record time and didn't hand it out. Aboard Funky Fred (For Pleasure) Ehning was only a bit faster as Italian speed devil, Emanuele Gaudiano.

Gaudiano followed as runner-up with Chalou (Chacco Blue) while France's Guillaume Foutrier completed the stage with the 11-year-old Chin Chin-daughter, Tchin de la Tour.

The pair was followed by Ludger Beerbaum with his trusted 15-year-old Chiara, while Dutch show jumping rider, Marc Houtzager completed the top five aboard STerrehof's Baccarat (Padinus). Houtzager was the first to set a clear round in this class.
