As first rider at the start in the Jump-Off, Yves Vanderhasselt kept the wood untouched in the saddle of his 10-year-old Jeunesse (Eldorado vd Zeshoek). The pair pressured the other riders. Eventually only France's Titouan Schumacher did best the time with his 12-year-old Atome Z (Amadeus Z*Brimbelles).
The stage was completed by Dutch show jumping rider, Ruben Romp, in the saddle of Bugatty Go (Concorde).
Last rider at the start, Frédéric Vernaet, followed in a fourth place. Aboard his Dieu Merci van T&L he was followed by Dries Dekkers in the saddle of D&J Havanna (Griseldi).
